I have been giving much thought to the act of kindness that I would dedicate to honour of having the sconestone...... Over the past four years I have worked with Diabetic children and their parents whenever able while on tour in Canada. I have entertained and given talks at CWD ( Children with Diabetes) events, both in Canada and abroad.
Last summer, with the incredible help of Paul Flynn and his staff at Animas Canada Insulin Pumps, we held our first “Sky’s Not the Limit” tour where I flew my aircraft across the country and met with Type 1 Diabetic kids and their parents in hangars at chosen locations. It was an amazing event that we hope to continue once again this year.
SO, I have decided that my entire year working with kids with diabetes in 2010 will be dedicated to the sconestone and what it represents.
